During the summer months we look to move our way around the Wirral taking in some of the members local areas and experiencing something a little different. The pace is one of a social run and often finished with a pint or a little bit to eat. Mostly our members take a turn to organise a route between 6 and 8km, below are some of runs this year!
Well done tonight for those who came and made the last of the summer runs a success out to Hilbre Island. Lead by Ian Mc, the club followed the route out but cut back to shore on the return. While Andy Waring and Les Hall walked out to Little Eye we wondered if we would lose someone!!!
Special thanks to Kate (Adams partner) and Kate who hopefully will be joining us having been with the club for a run a while back.
Afterwards it was in the Dee Hotel for the Thursday curry night, well for some anyway and for a great craic.
Thanks to Barry McDonnell for taking us on a tour of Hoylake and West Kirby, alot more than a wall and beach. Well done everyone and good to meet ex club member Patick Corrigan at the end.
Green Lodge provided the refreshments thanks Rob Price.
Thanks to Rob Price for tonights run which took us from the Bridge Inn in Port Sunlight to go round/up/down/round the River Park with a bit of Sunlight to finish.
Andy, Ian Mc, Pip and Hamsin enjoyed the scenery and drink afterwards. We were joined by Maria and Gary who had been tidying up the village.
Highlight was Ian Mc getting his ice cream as a starter really funny..
Last night was the first of this year's summer runs around Brotherton Park then for refreshments in the Royal Oak in Bromborough. It was a warm one with lots of wee slopes over bridges and through a tunnel.
Thanks to Adam Miller, Laura Moran and David Young the new members enjoying what the club offers..
