Every Tuesday in September the club takes part in the Wirral Multi Terrain Series. This is a collection of four races that is spread across the Wirral. The terrain differs in each race but includes sand, sandstones, dunes, rocks, tarmac, trails and the occasional bit of mud. Each race is between 6 and 8km and costs £5 to enter each race (this is to cover the cost of timing chips).
Below is the details of the races and the report from the 2023 series. There is also a 9.5km multi-terrain race in May at Thurstaton that club members help to marshal, this test of endurance includes Thurstaton beach, the Heswall Dales and the Wirral Way.

Well done to Colin Thomson and Barry McDonnell who took part in tonights Multi Terrain at Royden Park. A challenging 2 lap course that takes in Thurstaston Hill twice on a warm night. Supported by Andy Waring and Steve Harrison who is starting a long road back hopefully 2024 will have rewards..

Well done to Colin Thomson, Ian Davies, Barry McDonnell and Andy Waring along with 2nd claim Sean Britton for completing the course.
Thanks to Rob Tyson who took the photo sadly work issues delayed him getting to the start.
26th Sept – Arrowe Park
Well done to very one tonight, the race at Arrowe Park was a success again and all down to this wonderful club. On a bright night that helped and it being dry we got all around safely. I did notice late comers and a junior run in the senior race. Thanks to all who have helped make the evening a success again.
Congratulations to Barry and Colin for completing all the races, Ian Davies the last 2 and Rob Tyson the last one. Andy Waring did the Harrison Drive event.
